I know what it's like to feel stuck. I came from a restaurant and bar background where I worked three jobs and paid my rent 14 days late every single month.
I wasn't the type of person who always knew they were meant for that one thing. But, there were a few things that I did know: I wanted to be able to work from my laptop at home or wherever I was, I wanted to travel, and I wanted to create a life that I could feel proud to wake up and live.
I searched for work-from-home jobs and tried network marketing (which can be lucrative but wasn't really my jam), some other kinda shady online stuff (ha! NOT what you're thinking, but this is a story for another time)... and then I landed my first Virtual Assistant role with an online business coach in 2011.
Landing that first gig felt great - I had years of experience in customer service, so I could be an assistant! What I didn't know at the time was how much this was going to change my life.
I went from that first VA gig, where I was earning $9 per hour working with one client, to working with multiple clients and consistently bringing in $6,000-8,000 per month.
